Interesting job now finished and had its first public outing at van life festival so can now put the build up. The Unimog had a new body built and fitted out we put the electrics water heating and air conditioning in
We have fitted 4 x 24v 330ah @fogstardrift power was feed to 2 x lynx class t inputs feeding a lynx shunt and lynx distribution. 240v is taken care of by a 24v 3000w victron multiplus. We have used the victron xs1400 for b2b everything is sending feeds to a victron cerbo for monitoring we are controlling the solar panels by 4 independent mppts Victron Energy B.V.
For solar we have 2 500w solar panels on the roof and we have also 2x450panels fitted to each side and the rear for maximum solar input
The cerbo is measuring the auxiliary diesel tank and temp sensors in the electronic cupboard at set temp it turns on cooling fans automatically
We have fitted a dometic 240v roof ac unit
Now as this is an Autoterm.store UK demo van we have fitted a pair of 2kw 24v air heaters in the main habitation box. We have also fitted the new baltica hot water system feeds a radiator in the bathroom and blower box in the seating area. And we have a flow5 fitted in the engine bay for keeping engine warm in the artic
All low level lights and down lights are 24v and dimmable
We fitted a tetravan shower available from @adventrurevanlife that folds nicely out the way when not in use we fitted a bunch of lighting from @lazerlights. All entry point into the van was via Scanstrut glands
4pm the night before the show we found the water pump leaking after further investigation found the bearing had collapsed. A replacement was located in Lancaster @owencox left autotermukheadoffice to collect it. I removed the old one then headed upto north wales to meet the water pump and bring back 1.30am Iโm back in Southampton fitting the pump 4am the truck is up and running ready for the show ๐

Noggin The Mog Adventure Van Life stage one done water pump has swapped vehicles thanks to Owen going up the country to get it. So this road runner express on way south to fit it !!!

Last job of the day a full hybrid car we have the correct equipment for use on these
2 Volvo tippers both had leaking condensers new ones fitted at end of the day for minimal down time
Blue machine day another material handler ac serviced and ready got the warm wether
Another victim of the gas and go brigade ๐คฌ after carrying out a proper nitrogen leak test we found the condenser was leaking. Just a few bits to remove to fit the replacement. This was carried out on the customers drive

how many times had they been elsewhere before getting hold of you?
This customer came to us after having it regassed 3 times to be told no leaks each time lasted no more then a week using. The correct methods of leak testing showed the condenser to be leaking on removal quite easy to see were itโs been leaking

When you do a nitrogen pressure test it's amazing what shows up compared to what is a vacuum pressure test on an AC machine
Job we teamed up with Banwell Marine Services a classic Dutch barge on the Thames undergoing a refit. We fitted a webasto thermo pro150 along with new radiators thro the boat linked to WiFi via heatmizer hub

An interesting one ex electric company defender 110. We unpicked there complicated electrics to use the hella sockets and lights. Removed the bulkhead to open the back up. We fitted a Fogstar lithium battery in the side locker with a victron b2b. We modified the original roof rack to hold a pair of 175w victron solar panels. We also fitted autotermuk 2kw diesel heater.

This job came to us as weโre a diesel heater specialist that customer had asked lot of companyโs to be greeted we only do vw ect. So tool packed sat nav set next destination Weston super mare.
Due to slide out sides we out the autotermuk 4kw heater in base of a kitchen unit using a Marine exhaust silencer passing thro the locker secured with silicon heater mount. We drilled and tapped the fuel filler neck using one of our specialist fuel fittings for diesel I wonโt cut into the fuel lines so in event of break down every system runs independently

They only do the simple ones as they don’t know how to do anything else whereas you’re a master
This t5 camper came to we a non working Chinese heater and internal fuel tank๐คข. On removing the heater so many faults were found with the instal so we cut a nice hole in the floor fitted a stainless turret mount that fitted an autotermuk 2kw air heater with comfort controller taking the fuel from the main tank we removed the old internal tank so no more diesel smells inside #autotermuk #kentcampers #dieselheater#kent #motorhomes

This loverly t6 4motion undergoing conversion has just had a autotermuk 2kw diesel heater with comfort controller power for it coming from Hythe Auto Electrics seat base set up with fogstaruk battery ready for the units now. Remember we are the uks longest independent fitter of autoterm heaters we donโt just fit them but repair and service too
